Rev. David Moore - Minister

David is married to Wendy and they have three children, Avala, Eric and Justin.
A graduate of Emmanuel College's MDiv program, David provides spiritual direction and support to all of the church's ministries.
In a recent survey, David was found to be a prophetic preacher with a clear and thought provoking message.

Avala Moore - Interim Student Minister

Avala is an MDiv student at Emmanuel College and in in her final year. She is also a candidate for ministry in the Bay of Quinte Conference.
Avala intends to finish her MDiv in the coming academic year and will then go into a supervised ministry education site before seeking ordination.

Jennifer Mosher - Church Administrator

The Church Administrator at Simcoe Street United Church performs many important tasks to keep our church and its office running smoothly and efficiently. Jennifer is additionally responsible for wedding, funeral and baptism inquiries, and for organizing your use of the building facilities for your meetings, groups and events. Jennifer works closely with all members of our staff and church; she is a wonderful liaison between the pastor, the congregation and the church staff, and is able to answer any questions or point you in the right direction.

Robert Phillips - Organist/Music Director

The founding conductor of the Durham Philharmonic Choir, Robert Phillips enjoys a varied career as an organist, music director, accompanist and teacher. A native of Cape Breton, he graduated from Mt. Allison University (B. Mus., performance 1978), and the University of Toronto (M. Mus. Performance and Literature 1987). He has been involved with several church and community choirs. As musical director of the DPC, he has conducted many of the standard choral works with orchestra.
Along with operating a landscape business, he enjoys several sports, including hockey, golf and skiing, in addition to spending warm summer weekends at Burleigh Falls.

Andy Fitton - Custodian
Andy keeps the place clean and ready for weddings, funerals, fundraisers, rentals and of course, Sunday Service.

Ralph - Storyteller/Educator
Ralph is 30 years old and has played a vital part in Davids' ministry for his whole life. He helps with the children's time during Sunday worship services. He's also sometimes part of other church initiatives such as camping trips and fundraisers.
